Errors

You may receive some of the following errors while working with Pocket Inventory:

 

No device present

-This error occurs when trying to perform actions that communicate with the device and no device is recognized. Make sure the device is properly cradled and that Active-Sync is running and connected.

 

This device exists as a registered device, please un-register this device before attempting to register it again

-This error occurs when a user tries to register a device that is already listed as a registered device.

 

Transaction Sync Errors

You may receive some of the following errors when attempting to sync transactions with the back-end. If you are unable to figure out why a transaction will not sync try to recreate it in the back-end and see what happens.

 

No Item. Please add at least one item. - back-end: All Orders

Make sure the transaction you are trying to sync has valid line items and quantities. If your All Orders preferences has "Verify Lots" turned on, check the transaction's lot/serial numbers.

 

Messages

These are merely some message you may receive while using Pocket Inventory

 

Registering this device will overwrite any registration information previously created on the device

-This message will display if a device appears to have been registered but is not currently on the device list. This may occur when a user Un-Registers a device and the device is not connected. The device's registration information will not have of been removed and the user is warned that it appears to be a registered device. The reason for this message is for user's with multiple companies. A device registered to one company will not appear in another companies device list and if registered to another company will lose the previous registration information.
