This menu contains optional settings for the user to change as needed. Some of these setting can will only be enabled at certain times. They settings include:
The Auto Qty option is primarily designed for item's being scanned one by one. When the Auto Qty setting is checked each item scanned into Pocket Inventory will be given a quantity of one and then added to the total quantity for that item on the current transaction. Auto Quantity can be turned on and off for all transactions.
The remove check digit setting was designed for user that are scanning in items with scanners that add a trailing digit to the scan code. For example, an item with the bar-code 123456789 may scan in as 123456789d. When the remove check digit setting is checked, the last digit of the scan code will be removed each time. If your scanned items are generating the error "Item Not Found" try turning this option on/off to see if the check digit is throwing off the scanned in code.
The page count items setting will only be enabled from the Main Screen. The setting will be disabled if the Count transaction is disabled. When the page count items setting is checked it will create paging functionality for the item list that is displayed in the Count transaction's screen. Each page will display ten items from the list. It is a good idea to check this setting if you are working with the Count transaction and a large item list.
The pick ship items by item will only be enabled from the Main Screen. The setting will be disabled if the Shipping transaction is disabled. This setting determines the way that items are picked for shipping documents. By default shipping documents will be opened as a regular shipping document with a list of items for the current document. If the Pick Ship Items By Item setting is turned on then the user can select an item and enter a quantity for that item on multiple Shipping Documents. Picking items in this way can only be done against items on orders. See Picking Ship Items By Item for more information.
Set this preference to determine whether the descriptions for items listed on transaction will be visible or not.
This menu contains informational features the user can select. The features include:
