NumberCruncher allows entry of Units Of Measure for Items. Different Units Of Measure can be entered for the same item. Items can have a Use UOM, Purchase UOM, and a Sale UOM. If one or both the Purchase UOM and/or Sale UOM are left blank, then the Use UOM will be used. UOMs provide information on documents and forms and perform Units of Measure conversions.
The Unit of Measure list is used to view, add and edit UOMs that will be used in Items.
The first six UOMs can not be changed, made inactive, or deleted. These UOMs will always be the first in the list, then new UOMs are listed alphabetically.
Use Prev and Next arrow toolbar buttons to scroll through the list one item at a time or click a Unit of Measure on the List.
The Reset button, clears all data and returns the original values from the last time the record was saved. If entering a new UOM, then the fields will be blank.
The Delete button deletes the current UOM if not being used. If the UOM is in use the UOM can be made inactive, also, a message appears showing where it is used.
